In this presentation, learn why cohousing, both senior and intergenerational, is such a big deal today and how to get projects started. Durrett will highlight current housing challenges, including affordability and the influx of an aging society, and why cohousing is a successful model to combatting this challenge.

Meet others interested in started senior cohousing and learn essential tools to make it happen in your town. Talk with Quimper Village residents and tour their homes learn what goes into a Senior Cohousing Community.
Saturday will be a day of conversation and workshops. Cohousing expert, Chuck Durrett and board members of SAGE Cohousing International, will discuss the importance of cohousing for older adults, what works and what doesn't, and how to get your project off of the ground. Then tour Quimper Village Senior Cohousing and talk with the residents who got their project finished in three years!
